<p>Still sleeping off the champagne when my fedex package arrived this morning. Thank god, I wouldn’t have been able to handle MORE waiting.</p>
<p>@juniper still waiting for my fedex package…i got the call friday but i guess they sent them out in a bundle. i called fedex and they said i should have a package by 3pm today…we’ll see</p>

<p>Quick question, why does the reply form I got say that the deposit is 500 while the one online says 200?</p>
<p>All the information in the packet says 500, so guess they upped the price. The online new student checklist also states that the mandatory orientation is in January, so I suppose they need to do some updating. I’m also wondering how I will be able to afford Columbia when I’m trying to scrounge up enough money for the deposit :)</p>
<p>Did anyone call them prior to being admitted? If so, did they ever give you a hint to whether or not you’d been admitted, or was their tone of voice when looking up your file happy, upbeat, or sad, or anything for that matter?</p>
<p>Did anyone call them a lot? And if so, do you feel it did/can affect your admissions chances?</p>
<p>I wish there was a “I don’t have enough money, here’s what I’ve got” option like some schools have</p>

<p>I wonder if the timing of your acceptance has any significance (other than when you got your materials in)?</p>
<p>If you don’t hear back by May 1st, does that automatically mean you’ve not been accepted? Does any GS admits have experience with this?</p>
<p>This whole process is driving me nuts</p>
<p>Do they spend the last week of notifications sending out rejection notices? I want to be really, really positive, but let’s be realistic, are they accepting applicants until the last day possible (May 2nd)?</p>
