I would take whatever SAT and ACTs you can before the deadlines. With schools awarding scholarships just based on stats, it’s worth the test fee to get a chance at a better scholarship. Good luck!

You also cover yourself if you have a bad day or an uncomfortable setting.

Hey all,

I am trying to help my cousin apply to college. I’ll be a sophomore at South Carolina in the fall, and in HS applied and got into Alabama. UA still has rolling admissions right? His grades aren’t as strong as mine were and I want to help him have the best chance to get in.

UA still has rolling admission and because of that I would suggest that he apply early in order to have a better chance at admission. However, if he is retaking the ACT/SAT this fall, he should wait on sending his test scores. He can still complete the rest of the application though.

We applied July 1st and are awaiting our letter or any information from the school. When D checks her application status all of the required items have been received. Will it also state online whether they have been accepted? She hasn’t received anything regarding a login or sign in for the mybama account either.

You can go to this thread

It tells you how to create your mybama account if your app shows processed.

We followed those instructions and when we logged into the email account, there was a couple of emails in there but still no admission decision.
