All hope is not lost if you haven’t had any loading transcripts or a letter yet.

Unfortunately if you apply into a specific college like I did (College of Built Environments) they will not make a decision on UW admittance until they are told whether or not you are accepted into your major or minor. I’m turning my portfolio/application in to the CBE this Friday so I won’t hear anything from UW for another few weeks.

@KayleyFC There are just glitches in the system. But yeah I would say definitely just wait for the letter because that is the official sign that you got in! I wouldn’t worry too much about it but just thought I would mention this on the thread. Will you please post when you get your response from UW? That would be greatly appreciated! :)

Aw maaan. I totally spazzed with excitement yesterday when my transcript loaded, but now I’m back to the constant worrying again… -_- I’ll post here as soon as I get any news!

I think it’s really uncommon for someone to get rejected after getting their student number and everything, so I think it’s safe to think that you’re accepted. Just don’t go crazy yet telling everyone about your acceptance and buying a bunch of UW merchandise. Wait until you get the actual letter to do that. :)

Fingers crossed! And yeah, I was thinking the same thing… it seems like it would be rather strange for them to go to all that trouble on accident. And I haven’t told anyone yet!! I’m too worried that I didn’t get in. I bet my letter will take forever to come… I live three hours away from campus.

c00l! guys, I gt my transcript loaded too. thx everyone

I think those who have their transcripts loaded have a high chance of being accepted. Before the time I got my transcript loaded, I go around myuw to check other services like registration and grade report , i gt a message say “This service only available to current and former UW student, if ure a current or former student, pls contact . . . for web errors etc”. But after my transcript loaded, i gt a message " you have no grade report" and “u havent registered” . . .

I just received an unofficial transcript with a student id number.
nhhn018, I also noticed that the pages we couldn’t go on is now open, so does that really mean we’re not accepted, that doesn’t makes sense, but I do understand these letters are to confirm us, officially.
I don’t know if any of you guys are experiencing this, but my transfer application still says “we will inform…” rather than “its been reviewed.” What does that mean?

I live less than an hour away from UW, so I’m hoping to get a letter tomorrow (if they really mailed them yesterday), and I’m hoping it’s an acceptance.

I am extremely scared I applied last minute right on February 14 at 11pm. My Gpa was 3.4 for civil engineering. How important is your final transcript? How much does it affect their decision to accept you cause engineering is strenuous and I did average my last semester at CC. also I’m from CA so I know I’m already at the bottom of the barrel compared to other WA resident transfer students.

so has anyone NOT have their transcipts loaded yet?

i just got mine loaded earlier today, i applied with around a 3.0 gpa average, was at Western for a few years, and at a commnity college in state for about a year, where i completed a transfer degree. i applied for computer science and biology.

For those who have received their unofficial transcript with a student id, just I got in on apply housing online. I want to know if given the privilege to access the housing and dining website, does that mean that I’m a student.

And are we suppose apply housing after or before advising and orientation?

I posted this in the other thread, but just figured I’d post here to say that I received my acceptance letter and welcome packet today! My transcript loaded on the 15th. I had already enrolled at Western Washington University but am now changing over to the University of Washington.

@iamarock: Congrats! And congrats everyone else too!

My transcript loaded yesterday and I live less than an hour from campus, so I’m hoping to get a letter tomorrow. Has anyone tried to register for classes yet, or is there an orientation we go to first? I tried to register and it said that I couldn’t, but I do have my transcript loaded and my student ID number.
