Fall 2013 Transfer UC Admits: have you registered yet?

Just a follow-up to your admission, and because the quarter will start next month.

1) Which UC have you decided to go with?
2) What's your major?
3) What classes are you taking?
4) On a scale of 1 to 10, how ready are you to start the quarter?

I’m not sure what you mean by registered.
1.UCSB. I got accepted to UCSD, UCSC and Davis
2. Biological Anth
3. Not sure yet; our orientation is this Friday.
4. 10. I’m so done working and just sitting around waiting for Sep 21st. I can’t wait.

Sorry.
I meant registering for classes.

1.UCSB
2.Computer Engineering
3.CS130A, ECE154A, ECE156A
4.11

Here are my answers:

  1. UCI
  2. Business Economics
  3. Math for Economists, Intermediate Economics, and Global Economy
    1. I am terrified.

haha why are you terrified?

I’m scared of the workload, and the professors, and how different the classes will be.

I am scared that the exams will be so hard that no matter how much I study, I’ll still do badly and I’ll have to rely on grade curves to get me by. I’ve heard horror stories of some classes that have extremely low passing rates.
I didn’t have to worry too much about exams in community college because the professors were easy, and so were their exams. Plus, they were lenient graders. The UCs aren’t like that.

Sorry for the long answer. That’s just how I feel.
