@therealbzb have you tried logging on to the financial aid website?

Has anyone received a Storybook invite? I was admitted back in April and I’ve called them in July about it, but I still I haven’t gotten it.

@syita19 Yes, I did, however you arent missing much. Storybook is not very active. Just call the office and let them know you are missing an invite. They should send you one shortly.

@therealbzb Have you received your decision? Let us know! You are welcome, I am glad to be of help I will likely attend for part time for the first semester and see where it goes from there. I hope this info help. Feel free to PM me with any other questions.

On another note, anyone here going to orientation? did anyone attend the Luncheon on the Sunday the 10th? I was there and it was a really awesome event. I’m so glad I went.

I missed the Sunday luncheon, was away on a roadtrip, but I will be there for orientation. How much of the extended orientation do you plan on attending? https://gs.columbia.edu/extended-orientation The PDF schedule recently released for those that haven’t seen it.

Thanks for the link. I am at orientation now and I hope to attend more of the extended orientation. What about you?

I am really digging this school and city so far!

Hey guys - sorry to jump on this forum, but I am applying for Spring 2015 or Fall 2015, and I was wondering - if my essay is 1,000 words over, is that too much? I have been working on it for months & I really don’t think I can accurately capture my life story in any words less than that. The limit is 2,000. Do you think that will be a huge issue?

Hey Neuroberd. My paper was actually around 700-800 words over as well, and I was accepted. I think the general rule of thumb is if your essay is going to be over the limit, make sure the content found within actually merits the length.

Hey guys, do you guys know about the gpa condition for last semester? For other schools, it is usually just pass all of the classes I am taking. Anyone knows what Columbia GS wants for admitted students?
@Beltayn what was your gpa when accepted?
