<p>@transferappfit i don’t know about that. i def know that my portfolio was reviewed in february, so i’m pretty sure reviewed everything. for my fafsa, though, i think it could be b/c i did it almost a month after the deadline? lol. either way, i’m preparing myself for a rejection letter.
@thercbray oh what really? it should be 5 down in the “financial aid resources” tab. that’s weird.</p>
<p>I found the one thing. I didn’t get any letter yet. I logged into MYFIT yesterday and it showed the applicants tab as usual. I clicked to my application status and it was also same as well. but I clicked student service & Financial Service tab on the top and it turned out to student menu. It said ‘student’ on the top and showed some menus like admission request & applications, registrations, student records and more. It used to be linked to application status as I remembered but now it’s linked to student menus. The only way that I go out back to application status was to click ‘back to Welcome FIT Applicant tab’ on the left top corner. Does anyone who hasn’t got the letter yet see this happen? I’m nervous and confused. Hopefully this is a good sign!!!</p>

<p>from there what do I select? I went to each one and it said something along the lines of no information is available/no award history/etc contact your financial aid office. </p>

I also applied to the honors program, I heard of only a few people that were already accepted, but I heard they send out their decisions around April 6th. I’m crossing my fingers. I have a 3.8 weighted GPA in an intense honors program within my HS. I have lots of community service, E/Cs, and strong recs. I was confident with my essay. The only thing are my SAT scores… I got a 1590 but I know FIT does not use that as a large factor, but I’m like 200 points below what they look for. I hope I got in, it sounds like such a wonderful opportunity. </p>
<p>I was accepted (thank God) but since I’m a NYS resident, my tuition is already low. I’m not expecting any financial aid awards in this case. Don’t worry if you don’t see any financial aid awards, especially if you live in NY. </p>

I filed as a resident because I changed my residency back in july of last year and used my cousin’s address as i’ll be living there when i relocate, however i used my address in florida as the temporary contact address. Hopefully they sent it out with the rest of NYS residents, but i’m just awaiting the letter. </p>

<p>My host mom knocked my door, hugged me and she showed me that most beautiful letter in the world!! I got ACCEPTED!!! OMG this is the best Saturday morning in my life. </p>

<p>Hello everyone and congratulations to all of you that have been accepted. I am a parent of a student who is still anxiously waiting for a decision. This post is for Rolliee…The menu at MYFIT has definitely changed and it looks more like the menu my son has who also goes to a SUNY school so I’m hoping that is a good sign. </p>
<p>@Rollieee @Lesmag I’m not sure if I’m looking at something else, but I’m pretty sure that my MyFIT didn’t change. On my page, there’s a tab that says “Welcome FIT Applicant” and that’s it. Within that tab there are boxes that say “Financial Aid” and Student Services" but there’s only that one tab.</p>
<p>I’m not expecting to get in - I have a 4.0 GPA and (I think) a strong portfolio/essay, but I messed up when uploading the files for my design test and accidentally submitted only 5/6 photos, which I’m pretty sure blew it. If something has changed on yours and not mine, that’s probably a good sign for you!</p>
