Fall 2014 Applicants Unite!

So letters they’ve sent out last week were waitlists and rejection letters?

@graphicsgirl190 I wish you the best of luck! One of my friends from school just got accepted yesterday so I don’t think it’s a bad sign! But I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you get in!

@mg1222 when was your friend’s mail sent??

@limjuliana I am a fashion design applicant that is still waiting too :frowning:

Thank you  @mg1222

@michelletraann this is making me depressive, cuz people that are receiving their letters this week are all getting waitlist/rejection letters :frowning: and when I asked them on monday they said my letter wasn’t even sent.

@limjuliana I know exactly how you feel. I haven’t seen that many Fashion Design applicants on Instagram though; mostly Fashion Merchandising. So there is hope!

Have any Illustration applicants gotten any letters recently?

@thercbray Hi! How did you find out all that information about the credit, non-degree courses? I thought I found information on FIT’s website but it doesn’t look like it’s been uploaded since 2010.

@limjuliana I’m not quit sure but she got her letter on Tuesday!

@Sheofthesea did you get letter in email or by postal mail?

Did anyone else get an email from admissions about what it is really like to be an FIT student?

Anyone receive any letters in the past couple days? Acceptance, rejection, or wait list?

Well I just got my letter and I was waitlisted. Now I feel like piece of crap hahah. I wish everyone else who’s still waiting a good luck!

Hey F.I.T. is still accepted students. I’ve got my letter yesterday, email on the march 25. The letter mark the 25,2014. I’ve notice that the emails are sent usually around 7 pm. A week prior I really thought I wasn’t getting into the school since one of the admission had contact me via email for an update transcript since the Interior Design is the most competitive and limited seating program. Since failed a class and my G.P.A. had drop from 3.1 to 2.7 I almost lost faith and started praying to the gods and universe lol. So just dont think mediocre thoughts, stay positive.

@bini0625 Ugh, I know the feeling. So Sorry! What major did you apply for?

@Sheofthesea FMM! How about you? Do you perhaps know how many people are accepted from the waitlist? Idk if its going to be worth it if the acceptance is really low for wait list

@bini0625 I applied for photography! I don’t think there’s any set number of waitlisted applicants who are admitted because it depends on how many students that were initially accepted choose to enroll. Supposedly you can call and ask them to tell you which number you are on the waitlist but I haven’t done that yet because I’m afraid they’ll be annoyed with me or something lol.

@Sheofthesea yeah same here… I’m scared to call them. But are you going to send other materials like letters of recommendation, an essay other than the updated transcripts?

@bini0625 @Sheoftgesea they’re not gonna tell you your rank on the waitlist, sucks I know.
