I am COLA and I have been “complete/on time” for 2 months and "your application is in review’ across the top of the page

@kgerken when did you submit your application?

I think all of you just make each other even more nervous with the constant questions about each others stats and just checking this page over and over. Stop worrying about who’s in review and who isn’t. Stop worrying about the length of how long others have been in review. Just be damn patient and when your time comes, it will come.

The whole point of the thread is to talk with others in the same situation. Asking questions, comparing stats is all part of it. Someone just got accepted on Friday so of course people are going to be checking this page and their my status page. It’s a tough situation to go through and some people like to go through it with others in the same situation. So why does it matter what people talk about on this thread? If you don’t like it you don’t have to follow it or comment but you obviously have been following it since you have been seeing all the comments. My point is who cares what we talk about on this thread? If people want to talk about it, then they can. Everyone is dealing with the wait differently.

@rangers32 I applied mid February- 2 months ago

@kgerken Cola? what is your major?

@rangers32 French

Thanks for the lecture @CileyMyrus Now you may kindly take a hike.

Hey @RyanAntony did you ever find out which engineering major @tentonshoes was accepted into? So far it appears that on this thread, a Civil Eng and a Chem Eng have been admitted. I applied for Mech Eng, and I’m still in review (fingers crossed).

@rangers I’m English, was thinking about doing French. Just interested, whats your GPA?

@rangers my GPA is a 3.9

Tensions are high, but the nature of this thread shall be open to all questions and concerns! This application process is life changing, and going through the process with some support is the main idea. We are all in this together, with one place in mind. Good luck to all of y’all! Feel free to contact me if concerned or have questions. :)

@want2engr No he did not say yet…

Wondering if they send the decisions for the more competitive colleges like Business and Engineering earlier than the other ones. Guess we’ll find out some more tomorrow.

So much time and effort has led up to this moment. Knowing a decision is close at hand is driving me insane!! I am overflowing with anxiety, fear, and excitement all at once. Writing this to let off a little steam… Holler if ya feel me!! 8-X

My major was Chemical Engineering, for those interested. Seems to match up with what others said above.

Sorry for the late reply. Was pretty busy today with apartment hunting and vaccine documentation and such. Those of you that haven’t heard back yet should take a breather for a minute while you wait–when your acceptance comes through you’ll have plenty of running around to do, trust me.

Any new acceptances today???

Does anyone remember the dates of the big wave of acceptances from last year? I couldn’t find it and would like a more educated guess as to when we might hear back.

Hey guys, I called UT today to ask about an issue that’s come up with one of my transcripts and they transferred me to an admissions adviser that works in application decisions. In our convo, she told me that admissions fully expects all decisions to be out within the next two weeks. Two weeks still feels like a lifetime - but hopefully most of us will hear back closer to the beginning of these next two weeks than the end! We are on the home stretch, y’all! :))

@beebee23 some were around this time for sure. And I think I saw one year it was around easter so in a week. Just depends.
