When and what time is the decision posting?
so itās gonna be around 5pm just like last year?
IF it is the same as last year, with a capital IF, it will be in the evening.
I guess Gender Studies is the UCI of the UC system. Everyone picks it as the backup. :))
So i called UCLA admissions and they said last week of April,so I donāt know where everyone is getting Friday from? 
Did anyone get something different from admissions? i think one girl on here said that admissions said Friday and that was all that she said.
@sabreeng as it has been stated belterā¦ Students answer the phone and they donāt know anything. We are getting this Friday the 17th because they were released on the 18th last year.
also we know that regents will be contacted on April 20th, AFTER the admissions are posted, which only leaves us the 17th for the admissions to be posted

Theres not even a Friday in the last week of April lol so I kind of doubt itās the last week of April because that would be later than Berkeley.
@glondon Yeah, upon further research I think I might actually really enjoy gender studies and it shouldnāt harm my grad school plans at all. As for what I want to do in grad school, I primarily had an interest in Cognitive Science, but as long as Iām doing anything research related, I will honestly be happy. I really enjoy research. I really hope UCLA will accept me for either major, Psychology or Gender Studies, either way I will attend. The nerves are killing me, especially since Iām seeing a lot of other people applied into Gender Studies this year, the competition may be pretty high. Especially because my college doesnāt offer the one major pre-req for GS, and I couldnāt go to another school to take it, Iām scared thatās going to really hinder my chancesā¦

I called Admissions again and got āsometime between this week and next weekā. Sigh. I just want an answer. Signs are pointing towards this Friday but I need confirmation, darnit!

It is quite possible that they are rushing to get everything ready to release this Friday, but unsure of whether they will be able to make that deadline, they are not ready to announce yet. Just my guessā¦

@ibwaterpoloman - Your theory makes sense to me. They dont want to cut a sorry figure if they miss their date. So, keep it hanging and release it when they are ready. So, I guess it will be somewhere between 17th and 24th
I called the admissions as well and the lady I spoke to told me that decisions are coming out next week. I donāt understand why they are giving out different dates to different people. I think theyāre doing this just us to maintain the anticipation and ambiguity of the admission decisions.
