So I got waitlisted after applying early, getting deferred, applying regular, and now getting waitlisted. Stats are solid (but obviously not solid enough) to be put in stasis for so many rounds: 2090 SAT 3.65 weighted GPA. 10 APs, solid AP exam scores (not that they know that), solid essays, solid recs, solid ECs.
The problem is, all these solid somethings add up to one solid nothing, so here we are.
It really sucks seeing virtually everyone you know get in with various combinations of higher and lower stats but that’s just how it is.
Anyway, if there’s anyone else in the same boat, feel free to share your story. And good luck to the final contestants in the world’s least fun game.
I find it very surprising that you were waitlisted 
although I did get into uga I was deferred and ultimately waitlisted from ga tech so I understand how you feel, especially knowing that people with the same stats got in and you didn’t…but ya good luck to you as well and hopefully we’ll get into a college we want
