So did they release all decisions at once? For UCSB and UCSC they had a time frame, but didn’t release everything at once. I applied for film and am waiting
GPA: 3.3
Got into UCSC, SFSU, and UCSB
In state
hey @ahphan3 did you get email before you check your portal???
I check my portal first. Email just come today @vanoranje
Not sure if this is already somewhere on this thread but any idea when the next batch will be out? I got accepted to UCR and UCSB but the wait for UCI and UCSD are killing me since those are my more realistic options if I get accepted. Non-tag
Hi everyone, Im late to the thread and from cycling through the last couple of pages, is it correct that people have been accepted already?
@mrknots yes tag students mostly or supee high gpas
Anyone know when they will notify students again? I’m still waiting on mine
What if decisions are released on Friday the 13th @-) spooky…
Quick question, is anyone majoring in comparative lit?
It’s weird it’s taking them so long to release decisions when we applied way back in November!
Hi guys im concerned about not completing the major pre-reqs im a mechanical engineer student and didnt comlete 2 pre-reqs for transfer, specifically a c++ and an autocad class. Im wondering if ill get denied even though i had an internship with nasa in which i learned c++ and autocad. Does anyone know if they reject apllicants with missing pre reqs? Thanks and gl to everyone
so everyone’s saying they are admitting high-gpa students first but i have a 4.0 and still haven’t heard. should i be worries?
@butternutsquash There’s this thing called UCI Honors-to-Honors Transfer Agreement, and if you apply for it you get special perks like early admissions. A lot of those guys heard back from UCI about two weeks ago. So if you didn’t apply for the honors-to-honors program I wouldn’t be worried if you haven’t heard back… you are most likely going to hear back with everyone else (:
Does anyone know how to find out who their admissions counselor is? I am having trouble finding mine on the website. Thanks.
@lrecupero I don’t think everyone has a specific admissions counselor. You simply leave them a message on the UCI portal and a counselor gets back to you. It doesn’t matter which one. I sent a message and got a reply a day later.
@Piktuto I applied to UCI as a Comp Lit major. I didn’t realize that that was pretty non-competitive major at the time - it’s just what I’m interested in! Still waiting to hear from UCI and UCLA.
@AyGrey I have a specific admissions counselor on my uci portal. He replies pretty quick too as quick as when you’re texting someone if they want food
@intersecthere It is pretty hard to find people in that major. If I get accepted to UCI I hope we can be friends!
I picked comparative lit because almost all of my classes were related to that major. ^^
@AyGrey @riceball123 Okay, I sent a message through my UCI portal. Thanks!
@Tokiii okay great! thanks for the reply
@riceball123 Yeah but I mean that not everyone necessarily gets one. I personally don’t have the name of any counselor on my UCI portal. It just says to send a generic message. When I got a reply back it said it was from “UCI Admissions”. Not a specific counselor.
