Does anyone know on what basis the decisions are released? Just wondering cause I don’t have a decision but my friend whose last name starts with Y already got his acceptance lol. How does this work?
Got in today with a 3.6
Major: Sociology
GPA was a 2.2 first semester of college
All A’s in two semesters with 20 units each
Had family problem and explained why GPA was bad.

@sorkinator1 I heard it was through rolling basis this whole april. Everyone should be random and they will send an email when they update your portal so let’s be patient! (:
I wish you all the best of luck! I know it’s so hard waiting and its the time of the month where anxiety starts coming in with constant portal checking (I’ve been doing that) but I think patient is the key at this point (: we got this!

@yelloww i admire your mindset going into the admissions process! definitely difficult to wait around but considering your gpa & pre-req completion, it sounds like you should be a shoe-in (don’t take my word for it though lol). but yeah, you got 3 more days! i believe in you

Found out today the possible reason why I haven’t heard back from my TAG … I have programming courses from both IVC and Saddleback(They’re sister schools) and apparently two of my courses from IVC and Saddleback both articulate to the same UCI course, and because of that, they said they’d only give me credit for my first course which was at IVC. The problem is that the IVC course was 3 units and the saddleback course was 5. So because they’re only taking the IVC course, my units go down to exactly 59.5 … I need 60 units…
There’s literally only one open course left but its a theatre rehearsal and performance class. They’ve already been 1 month into rehearsals, but I’m still going to try and beg to enroll. -sigh-

Does anyone know what exactly happens if you receive a C in Calc 2 for Econ?? It’s a hard class man and they require a B

For calc 2 I watched a lot of YouTube videos. I ended up getting an A in the class by watching a professor who’s lectures lined up perfectly with my class. His channel is professor Leonard. Check him out
@Tokiii I’m at pcc, and just finished a 8 week geography class 100% online easiest A of your life. Maybe you could enroll and try taking that? They have a second session after our spring break (which is this week) so classes will resume the upcoming Monday
@shch7898 GPA: 3.70 freshmen transfer student used alot of stuff from hs for my essays danced, editor for newspaper, talked about wanted to do healthcare to transform my hometown in india also a bunch of other clubs i was part of
@thebigdawgg @anthonydavis Thanks for the suggestion!!! I’ve been looking up other colleges and it looks like they have some open classes. I have all the requirements for TAG except for the units so I’m hoping that I can appeal for my TAG when it gets rejected because technically it says finish by the END of spring semester 2018. So if I get the units done, then I should be set…hopefully…
Hey guys! Quick question. I am a Computer Science major and I am taking a course called Calculus 1D. Basically in my college there is Calculus 1A, 1B and 1C which is Calculus 1,2,3. I took those and did very well. Calculus 1D is basically an advanced version of 1,2 and 3 and can fulfill credit for a class I will probably have had to take at the University. Basically, none of the UC’s I realistically can get in to (I have a 3.7) REQUIRE that 1D course. It’s just recommended to speed things up when I transfer. So it’s a major prerequisite, but a recommended one. I have the rest of the prerequisites completed. If at a very worst case scenario I withdraw from this class with a W, will I get rescinded?
