Fall Schedule of Classes is availab.e

Calcruzer, go to the Student Center and on the right column there is an "Enrollment Dates" box.

Also, as a friendly reminder to all, before you register, look at the Grade Distribution of all of the teachers.

Calcruzer,

I think I found where it will be. Sign in to OneStart. Then click on Student Center. This takes you to a page that says SIS. Click on Go to Student Center. This should bring up your son's current schedule. On the right hand side of the page is a box called Enrollment Dates. Currently, my son's says the date he can register for the summer 08 session.

According to the Registrar's calendar, registration for current students for the fall 08 term runs from 3/31 to 4/25.

I'm assuming that once the summer early registration period expires, the fall registration date will show up in the Enrollment Date box.

I'm not too crazy about the new system. I was just getting comfortable with the old one!

A2 & I just crossposted. I'm glad our answers agree!

BTW A2, good job on your schedule. My son thought he was doing well by just avoiding Friday classes.

so cal, i'll be taking like the exact same classes as u! haha maybe not the media one

So I just looked up the grade distributions and my schedule seems very easy.

However I was kind of shocked by the average grades in Finite Mathematics. The average grade in the class is a 2.5 for the class I plan on doing, and for some other professors it got up to a 2.8.

What's so hard about finite math? I was planning on getting an A for sure because it seems kind of basic.

Has anyone already taken it?

I took Finite. It's really not hard, it's just that many people before going to IU do not have a strong math background, and Finite is difficult for them. My roommate is one of those who struggles with Finite, but my other roommate and I did very well in it. I went to class only for the exams and got a B without studying. Basically, if you put forth the effort, most your entry level classes will be easy.

Thanks for the information. I'm sure I will do fine since I have a really strong math background.

Socal18, i assume ur a gonna be a frosh next yr at IU? business major at kelley...direct admit? if so, i can't wait 2 meet u. I rlly hope i end up going to IU.

Thanks A2Wolves6.

I'd thank you also IllinoisMom2006, but you only came in second--just kidding, of course. Thanks to you also for helping me out--and for confirming A2Wolves6's info.

Zouman - Yah I'm going to be a freshman, but I'm not a direct admit.

And I'm almost positive I'm going to IU, but I'm still waiting to hear back from a few more schools.

The final exam schedule has a really bad set up for M118, M119 and one- and two-hundred levels of Spanish, German, and French. Take any of these math classes with any of these foreign language classes in Fall 2008 and you will be guaranteed back to back finals in them on the first day of finals, Mon., Dec. 15. I can't believe they arranged it that way. These are the hardest classes that many freshmen and sophomores will take in the same semester and they will be rewarded with back to back finals early in the week.
