Family Weekend Dates Announced

<p>I just received an e-mail about Family Weekend 2010. I know that a lot of people were asking about it, so mark your calendars for it and June 1st because football tickets sell out quickly.</p>

<p>[Q]Please Save-the-Date for Family Weekend 2010 at the University of Alabama!</p>

<p>September 3-5, 2010</p>

<p>Bring your family to Tuscaloosa for a Crimson Celebration as our 2009 National Football Champions roll into Bryant-Denny stadium for their first home game. Family Weekend is a great opportunity for families to return to campus to visit with students, learn more about campus programs and services, tour University facilities, explore the larger Tuscaloosa community and have fun!</p>

<p>Registration for events and football tickets will go live June 1st 2010 and will be limited. At that time, you will have the opportunity to register for a variety of events. After your registration is complete, you will be given a code and will be directed to visit Rolltide.com for football ticket purchases. The Family Weekend events schedule will be updated throughout the summer.</p>

<p>We have blocked hotel rooms for the weekend at various hotels in Tuscaloosa. These can be found on our web site under Area Lodging. The hotels which have “Family Weekend” blocked rooms are noted with an asterisk (*).</p>

<p>I hope Bama books a name for entertainment. When DS1 was a frosh, they had Daughtry come and do a concert at the Coleman Coliseum. It was awesome. We had a blast.</p>

<p>Considering how this year’s concert went over, we’ll have to wait and see if there even is a concert. Poor ticket sales for the this year’s family weekend concert canceled the homecoming concert. I’m optimistic though.</p>
