so I’m currently an undergrad student my major is in business administration with a concentration in accounting and I’m finishing up my classes to get my degree this upcoming winter so anyways I was taking a psychology and all was good until I missed two sessions my dog died so I was obviously distraught after the week goes by I check my student portal online to check for homework and such and I come to find out my psychology teacher dropped me even though it’s wayyyyy past the drop date which is February 2nd for my college so now my question is what’s going to happen to my financial aid disbursement since I’m no longer a full time student but I did pass the drop date and will I be asked to pay the class even though the class only has about 8 more sessions it’s more then halfway done? Will I even be disbursed this semester cause I was a full time student before this I had 13 units now I only have 10? any answers would be greatly appreciated thank you
Hi @bellaisbored. Welcome to CC. Periods are your friends. If you add some to your post, it would be easier to decipher.
You missed TWO classes and were dropped? There has to be more to this story. Does the class meet only once a week?
Go and talk to your financial aid office.
The bigger question is…will you have enough courses to graduate when you planned to.
