<p>The “triton eye” you hear of generally pertains to looks, not weight. I don’t think there are very many fat people on campus. San Diego is an active city overall due to the great weather year round.</p>

<p>Beware of the freshman 15 though! It was shocking to see how many people gained it. Barf</p>

<p>I have to say no. Don’t get me wrong, there’s fat people at every school but the amount of walking that everyone does to simply get to class makes everyone lose weight instead of gain it. For example, I walk 1 mile to get to Chem class and then 1 mile back to get to my room. & that’s just one class.</p>

<p>there isn’t a whole lot of fat chicks at UCSD, but there are more butter faces per square mile then anywhere in the US</p>

<p>actually, i visited the campus there and there really isn’t many “fat” people. but men in sleep robes and pink flip flops ^^</p>

<p>i dont think there are a whole lot of “fat” people at any campus. i mean, having a good diet is part of being smart…taking care of your body. so when you go to a place with educated people and people with motivation (especially where there is a free gym available), you are going to find a very low amount of “fat” people period. its simple probability</p>

<p>The lack of fat people is a combination of a high percentage of asians, pretty terrible dining hall food, and a really good gym. Seriously, if you are bored and don’t have anything to do, chances are you are going to the beach if it is daytime, or going to the gym at night.</p>
