Have been called fat by family members, but only because it’s polite to do so in China.

My phone says I’ll be overweight if I gain 2-3 more kg sobs. That being said, I don’t have a scale at home so I can’t check anyways. =( After 1 year or so of not exercising, I’m finally gaining stomach fat. I will have to swim over the summer.

I’m 5’3" and 110 lbs, but all my fat seems to concentrate in my stomach/thighs. I have skinny arms… I just need to work out [i’m wicked out of shape].

Despite shedding about 7 pounds since the summer started, my cholesterol level has gone up and my body has redistributed its fat deposits to locations I’d rather have relatively fat-free. At 5’7.75" and 120 lbs, you’d think I could get a beter body type, but fate doesn’t like me.

^
you are what people in the fitness community call “skinny-fat,” which basically means you don’t have much muscle mass, and that basically gives you a weird physical appearance that makes you look both skinny and fat in different parts of your body. most people that fit that description have fat in their stomach/chest area but look scrawny elsewhere. your arms are probably very thin, yea?
your fat can’t “redistribute,” and a good portion of that 7 lbs you lost was most likely water weight
with people who fit the description of skinny fat, losing weight is useless, because, like i said before, you have virtually no muscle and your physique will look very bad. if you lost the fat in the areas you are complainin g about you would look like a skeleton, literally
i could go further in depth, but you are better off googling it. start lifting weight and gain a decent amoun of muscle, you will be a lot happier with your physical appearance and will no longer look scrawny

anyone else who has questions just ask, i am in better shape/more muscular/better looking than anyone on this message board

ksarmand,
girl+jacked=good
i think your thinking of guys that are bodybuilder sized, no one likes that
a decent amount of muscle looks good on everyone, and trust me, you won’t have the genetics to become HUUUGE, know what im saying?
being muscular is always an attractive trait, no girl would pass that up.

if you only have a little fat, then it sounds like you just need to start lifting weights and gain some muscle, you will no longer have that skinny fat look i was talking about. a picture would help a lot in this situation so i could get a good image of what you need to work on, but it’s alright
start going to a gym for a couple of months, and look at the results. you will definitely like what you see

Uh oh, I think rOadTo3b might be able to one-up you here. That bro was pretty jacked. Bodybuilder status.

Anyway, his advice was actually pretty useful. If you really wanted to make sure though, the next time you go for a physical ask to get your body fat percentage, although if you’re unhappy with your current body working out and getting some cardio in is never a bad idea. Lifting weights won’t make you look jacked, it takes a lot of mental and physical effort, time, and planning to achieve that sort of musculature so there’s no chance of you “accidentally” getting too ripped. As long as you stick to high reps and relatively lower weights, you’ll be working more towards a lean look.

If you do end up working out and running regularly, don’t starve yourself because that would be counterproductive. You probably already know what foods to stick with and what you should never put in your mouth again.

Well you should remember that I’m not actually a real person. Hypothetically, if we were to meet, my awesomeness would overshadow your feeble attempts at self aggrandizement.
