This is incredibly lame. I run every day, but can't stop myself from eating a ton, so I get no where!

Tips?

This is incredibly lame. I run every day, but can't stop myself from eating a ton, so I get no where!

Tips?

You see this bottle? It is your friend. You see, you shouldn't waste your food after you've eaten it - don't let the bottle starve. The bottle doesn't judge you, it will help you look just wonderful. It's not your fault that you can't stop eating, you were meant to be part of this wonderful mutual symbiotic relationship.

I'm so confused.

W. T. F. lol

is it just me or am I reading your post as saying "go gag in a bottle."

Cutting out soda and replacing it with water will do wonders. Keep running, but try adding cardio to your workout. I don't know how long you go running for, but you should try and build up your stamina by increasing your duration every time to the point where you can run for an hour with no problem (I mean at a normal pace).

-Get rid of junk like soda, candy bars, and stuff like that.
-Eat six small meals a day spread out every 2-3 hours. Eat healthy stuff.
-Keep running.

drink lots of water! :D

i, too, suffer from what you are experiencing
i am a boy (and i THINK you're a girl) and we have overactive metabolisms, so that's why im not really overweight, but nonetheless i went on a diet last week and it lasted 4 days
i just love food so much
don't fret, im with ya sista

As people have said, nutrition is really KEY. If you're drinking a lot of soda, you're not doing yourself any favors. Try completely cutting junk out of your diet for a week and then see where you can go from there. In my experience, the best way to cut down on eating crap is to put if where you can't see it. Take that bowl of candy that's sitting out and put it in a cabinet. Move food out of the rooms you hang out in and to the kitchen. The more inconvenient it is for you to get, the better.

You should also know that your exercise is not sufficient if you're just running something like a mile a day. Exercise is good for your body when you're pushing yourself, so if you're just doing what you've been able to do for a long time, then, while there is certainly value in it, you could be doing better.

Try running three times as much as you normally do tomorrow. It's okay. You can do it. When was the last time you passed out from running? It might hurt a little, but any exercise worth a damn is going to.

Best of luck :).

^Agreed.

-Water, water, water. Besides skim milk, don't drink much else.
-Small meals. Eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full. Don't think of food in meals, but snacks when you're hungry.
-Yogurt, cottage cheese, and lettuce are your friends.

I'm a male. Ahahaha.

Small meals get hard when I'm in school, and when my parents want me to eat with them.

Errr, what is your weight exactly? Maybe you're already at a reasonably healthy weight, and you don't need to lose any more?

Also, what's your daily caloric intake and body fat %? And give us the specifics of your exercise regime.

There's nothing wrong with eating a lot. It's what you eat that makes the difference.

In general, for a healthy diet and a long life:

More fruits and vegetables; more seafood; more extra virgin olive oil

Less calories; less sodium; less processed foods; absolutely zero trans fats

Smaller servings per meal; greater quantity of meals

Most importantly of all: VARIETY

A healthy weight will follow a healthy diet.

Hey!! I am 5'11 male and I was 204 lbs on June. I now weigh 156. Seriously. I've been weight training as well so girls can't keep their hands off of me haha.

Dieting takes dedication. You HAVE to be dedicated to lose weight, if not it will never work. First, how much weight are you planning to lose?

I can give you the best diet plan if I know how much you are planning to lose. But you MUST stick to it, you can not eat other so-called healthy foods if they don't meet this specific diet regime. I know how frustrating being fat/overweight is and once you lose all that weight, you will feel so much better.

I'm 5 foot 10, and weight about 149 pounds. I run five miles a day...

...and why do you want to lose weight exactly? That sounds reasonably healthy, actually...

Edit: If anything, you might want to gain weight, and bulk up a a bit!

BTW, skim milk =/= good for you. Skim milk=chemicals=grossness.

I have INTENSE calf muscles... but some fat (my best friend tells me resting muscle) thighs and some around the waist...

^ That might be due to your genes rather than your eating disorders.
