i really like "acing the college application" by michelle hernandez. very straightforward, she was an admissions officer at dartmouth so she knows what they want to see...</p>
<p>oh yeah, I read that one too! It was good. I also like What It Really Takes to Get Into Ivy League and Other Highly Selective Colleges by Chuck Hughes, a former Harvard admissions officer. It provides case studies that are pretty helpful.</p>
