no ivies, semi-ivies, quasi-ivies, UNC’s, UVA’s, UCB’s, or Umich’s.

what is that safety school that you absolutely love?

for me, it’s Pitt, for sure. I’d take Penn over any other school 8 days a week, but I’d take Pitt over Harvard, Yale (b/c of that video), MIT, or Stanford in a heartbeat. It lacks that prestige, and has class size issues for me, but i’m still in love with Pitt. Best school ever. It’s a better school than penn, though i like penn more.

nothing in the top 49. nothing that's a legitimate dream school for an average (by our standards, no offence to anyone) student, say 3.5, 1250, 670, 640, average EC's, decent writer, etc.

Lehigh yes, USC? NYU? no

ps: you didn't need to apply (although that may not be evidence of a great love for it, lol)

so, so far i'm the only one that has a safety as my #3? Penn, Cornell, Pitt

there u go, those are safeties, real safeties. i think UConn looks really nice. i would consider tulane, but now i'm certain i wont go, cuz i missed the scholarship deadline, so tulane won't win my heart without a lot of cash

BU, George Washington and Penn State were my true safeties. Emory, Tufts and UMich were my second round draft picks. I had a few Penn equivalents on the list, too.

26e, is Lehigh for me considered a safety or at least a sure bet? I hope my ignorance isn't making me look overly confident about getting into LU. Any ideas?

Auburn University's mine. I've already gotten in with a full ride and I already get half-off tuition because my dad works there. The bad part is that I live in Auburn, but a free ride is so tempting, and plus, I heard the Honors Program is incredible.

-krabs: lehigh is kind of a safety, but idk much about it. all i know is that my econ teacher went there as a wrestler, and i genuinely dislike him (and he didn't even know it's illegal to execute minors in the US!! i mean, how?). he gave me a B. when i get back to school some heads will roll

26e - Ha ha, y do u think SU sucks? I know kids there this year that love it. I wasn't planning to apply there tho, cuz I wanted to be closer to a big city.

Another one I liked alot is Lafayette. They give huge merit scholarships there, too.
