Is it prestigious to place at FBLA Nationals? On a scale of 1-10, where 10 is like IMO/IBO/IPHO/ICHO or D1 athlete or ISEF and where 1 is no prizes.
Bump
Hard to gauge numerically but I would not say it’s a prestigious achievement, maybe a 5/10
I’d say ~3? I mean, 10 is IMO, which is incredibly difficult. A lot of people place at FBLA Nationals, but maybe that’s just my area.
@dblazer: Yeah I estimated a 5 or 6 as well. Around 800 people in the US place every year at FBLA Nats
My scale is based off this list below, so @glasshours: It’s probably a bit higher than a 3.
Thanks to everyone for replying
Fbla’s too expensive imo.
@wcao9311 Our school has a lot of funding, so the trip cost is usually ~$700 for us. I know it costs ~$1500 for most schools, so it’s actually worth it for me to go.
States is another $200. I’m fairly sure that my parents wouldn’t let me spend 1k every year on FBLA
