^^That's what I put for the worker one.

For the direction one I had 45° west of north.

^^That's what I put for the worker one.

Sorry, that was a typo. I put (30+x)(80-2x).

For the Chinese Calendar, each cycle of animals was 12 years. I did whatever the starting year was (can't remember) minus 1776 to get the total year difference. Then I did that number divided by 12, which came out to be like 17 1/3. One-third of 12 is four, and four back from the end of the cycle was Monkey :)

Too bad the reading section can't even it out for me, since I was expecting a 36 (and am pretty sure that I got it). My only hope is that the science section was harder than it seemed to me (giving it a better curve than I think it should have based on how easy it seemed).

For the boat one, it was 45 degrees west of north because they used bearings, not angle of depression.

And for the Chinese new year one I got Rabbit because I did 220/12 -18 * 12 and that was four down from the list resulting with Rabbit.

actually, it's monkey.

Yeah it's monkey lol. Being Asian made it a freebie. :P

I'm sticking with Rabbit.

You can look it up on a chinese calendar chart to check.

its monkey for sure

for the chinese new year one, the easy way to do it was by subtracting the year 2016 by 1776 which equaled 240. You then divide 240 by 12 and it comes out to an even 20. Thus the animal for 2016 is the same as 1776. That animal was the monkey.

^^^^that was an easy method.

LOL. I wasn't thinking straight so I minused 12 from 2004 or whenever untill I got to 1776.HAHA.

Dammit, I guess I misread the question.

What was the question about the range of some the function 2sin(x+3)+1 (I left it in my calculator.)
I think I put -1 to -3

it would be -1 to 3

The chinese new year was definitely monkey. What about the one with paint?(forgot exactly how it went) What was the answer for that? I randomly guessed 8.

Turned out the diamond was half the size of the wall, so since it took 12 buckets to do the whole wall it only took 6 to paint the diamond.

for the 2sin(x+3) + 1 problem....was there only one answer that had 3 in the range??
i chose one with 3...and was just wondering if there was more than one answer choice that contained 3 in the range

i think it was -1 and -3 and like -1 and 3

I think I did fairly well on the math. But then again, I felt that way about the SAT math.. Turns our I missed a few of the "easy" basic algebra questions, assuming they were the grid response.
Hopefully, this will be much better. I got the believed correct answers to some of the questions on here so far..
