Hello!

Is it worth it making it to the admitted students open house on Feb. 8? Or is it basically the same as the regular campus tour, just with a a bit more info that can be acquired elsewhere?

Thanks

The welcome days are pretty much a full day affair starting in the morning until late afternoon-ish. There’s different info sessions throughout the day geared toward different topics - the school that houses your major will give a few sessions on the academics, student life, co-op, etc. Most of the students who do attend the admitted days are students who live in the surrounding area/states since they can make a quick trip up there. I personally never went to one since I’m from CA.

I’m lucky enough to have parents to fly me up there from AZ, as I have to make the big decision between full rides at NEU, USC, or a service academy. Hopefully it will be worth it.

Carol95 above goes to a thread I started that has some more responses on the Feb. 8 date. I can’t go on that date so got advice on some other ways to get more of a feel for the university.
