To whoever was asking about an email, they send an email when score reports are released, and the say that is going to be on Friday.
Great job for a 10th grader! You’ll get up there just keep working @Land1Rover
So guys… when is the next wave of ACT scores coming out?
I’m… In shock right now… I dreamt that I got a 33 (highest possible score even in my imagination) and I got… A 34!!! I’m on cloud 9 right now
C:34
E:35 (was my worst section on my first practice test-I got a 28-I just spent a lot of time studying for just this section and it payed off)
M:33 (higher than I’ve gotten on any practice test, but I found this test to be easier)
R:33(naturally good at this category so I didn’t spend much time studying for it)
S:36! (The shocker! I spent NO TIME studying for reading and science and when I went in for the ACT I was really regretting it. I felt like I’d get a 30 MAX in this category)
I’m so happy! My highest composite on a practice test was a 32. Hard work really pays off! I’m a senior so this is the first and last ACT I’ll ever take!
I was hoping for 34+, but 33
1st Try: September ACT 2015 - 28
-English: 28
-Math: 35
-Reading: 26
-Science: 24
2nd Try: February ACT 2016 - 33
-English: 35
-Math: 36
-Reading: 28
-Science: 33
I’m happy that I had a 5 point increase.
I hope to do better on the June 2016 ACT
I really should work on Reading and a bit of Science to boost my score.
Good luck all of you guys
Damn it guys I got the highest possible 34. Idk what happened
E- 36
M- 33
R- 34
S- 34
Will this hurt my chances of getting into a selective college or should I retake it?
Wow… I feel like such a scrub reading through these scores. I’m in 8th Grade and have some time before college but I feel I should have done better.
Composite- 28
English- 29
Math- 27
Reading- 31
Science- 25 <---------idek what happened
Well, good job to all.
@kidwithadream202 you’re in 8th grade. That’s amazing considering you probably haven’t even taken all the math courses necessary to understand the math section. Great job! You’re in the 90th percentile I believe. You did better than 90% of mainly highschoolers.
I got a 32C
34 english
32 math
35 reading
28 science
Even though I was aiming for a 32, I’m honestly content with this considering I can retake. That was the hardest act math section I’ve taken for me and science was worse than I thought so I’ll try to squeeze 6 points out of those. It went decently though.
Quick question for you all:
I took the December ACT and got a composite of 32 without studying.
32 E
32 M
29 R
33 S
Obviously my scores are relatively consistent and science was my strongest section. So I retook te ACT in Februaury to try and up my score and got a 32C
33 E
35 M
34 R
24 S
I remember I felt normal about the science except for the last passage (5 questions) but even if I managed to miss all 5 is that still a 24?
Basically my question is would it be reasonable to ask for a rescore? It’s multiple choice on a scantron for $50 so it’s not cheap and not likely there is a mistake but still the science score worries me. How often are scores revised?
@IsaIck32 if you have the money go ahead but you should think about how you marked your answers with your pencil since too lightly sometimes screws it up. It seems a lot of people did worse on science than expected.
Well I did alright for my first try, but I’m definitely taking it again…
34 English
35 Math
33 Reading
26 Science (LOL)
Got WRECKED by Science lmao. But whatever, I didn’t really study for the science section specifically so it was sorta expected. It’s a little bit annoying that I’m going to have to study and wait a few more months for the results that I want, but it is what it is. Hoping for a 35 the next time I take the test, which is definitely gonna be tough. Ahh well, it was nice talking to you guys yesterday and today, see some of you on the next page (for the April test lol)!
@IsaIck32 ok I totally feel you. I thought science went particularly well for me but my score does not reflect that…maybe the curve was just really harsh bc it was an easy section this time around
32C
35E
32M
33R
27S
@roboticsnerd33 lol same thing happened to me. I had no idea it would be that bad.
Only hope is that I can maintain my GOOD scores in the first three sections AND get a better score in Science.
35 C
36 E
36 R
34 S
33 M
Was hopin’ for a 36,but I’ll take it. Congrats, everybody!
28 C
31 E
24 M
34 R
24 S
While a 28 is still a pretty good score, I was hoping for a 29 or a 30. And the sad thing is, my English score actually went down a point after taking it the last time, and my science score stayed the same. At least my math went up 2 points (which I thought I bombed!), and Reading went up 1 point.
30 C
32 E
30 M
34 R
25 S
I was hoping for at least a 32…Looks like I bombed the science like a lot of other people. Just wondering, has anyone tried the restore by hand system? What were the results? Do you recommend it? I honestly felt so good on science.
35 C
35 E
36 M
34 R
33 S
Congrats to everyone who got the score that they wanted! Hopefully, the essay scores are not too low, don’t want another 23…
@Gunkz123 I’m strongly considering hand-scoring at this point, especially because if I go up one point in any subject area my Composite will be bumped up to a 29. I think everyone did way worse in Science than they thought they did, because I thought I would go up at least 2 points, but ended up not going up at all.
