i am an intended business and applied math double major. here is my prospective schedule as of now for next semester.
Math 53
Econ 1
Music 27
English c77

any thoughts on this schedule? also is this a good pre-haas schedule? is it seen challenging enough in the eyes of haas? also how hard would it be to double in these two majors?

the last question: so i took music 26ac to cover the social and behavioral science breadth but in my darsweb it says it fulfilled the arts and literature. do i need to change it so it can cover the social breadth or does it do it automatically when i take music 27, which also covers the arts and literature?

How easily the double major is doable depends on what courses you have already taken (since your last question implies that you are a current freshman). After completing Math 53, 54, and 55, you will need 8 upper division math or related courses (about 32 units) and 38 upper division business units. This is 70 units, so you either need to get started on the upper division courses early, or take overload semesters. Of course, you also need to complete the various other requirements (e.g. 7-course breadth, though some math courses may fulfill some of them).

i plan on fulfilling all my breadths by sophomore year. i plan on doing summer school the next summer which will eliminate 7 units. so after planning out my last two years, it comes out to taking 5 classes the last four semesters, three of which will be 17 units and one 16 unit. that is assuming i get into haas (knock on wood)
