few (maybe stupid) questions. please help :)

Hi, im a HS senior and an international student and will be applying to college this year i was confused about certain things and would appreciate it if anyone could clarify my doubts.

Do i need to send certificates that proove my extra curricular activites to the colleges ? if not how do they judge wheather im lying about them or not ?

Is being a grade 4 violinist with distinction considered an "achievement" by colleges in usa ? i dunno the general standard there.

If i have more extracurricular activites than 7 should i send in an additional resume with my application or just write about them in a the "additional info" section of the common app ? if i send a resume will they even be seen by the admission officers ?

Does it decrease my chances if i apply just the day before the deadline or increase my chances if i apply 1-2 months before deadline for submission of my app ?

Thank you in advance to all who help me. I really appreciate it.

No. If they want evidence later they will ask for it.

Is it considered an achievement where you are? Then list it.

List the more significant ones on the common app. You can attach a resume if you want. Some admissions officers will read it. Others won’t.

The deadline is the deadline. At some schools they start reading the applications as soon as they arrive. In that case, earlier can be better because it will put you in line for better housing or scholarships or whatever. At other schools they don’t read a single application until the deadline has passed. In that case, getting the paperwork in early won’t yield any particular benefit. HOWEVER you should get everything in reasonably early in the process so that you have plenty of time to put things together. Many students miss deadlines because they don’t plan ahead.
