This is the most interesting thread ever.

Can I put a resume in the Additional Information section? I don't think the Common App has enough place for activites and awards.

I wouldn't. Too braggy. You can reference the things you couldn't fit in your essays.

You definitely want to send in your resume. I would print it out (on nice paper) and send it in separately (perhaps with your supplement). You definitely want to show them everything you've done - it can only strengthen your application, it's not "braggy" whatsoever.

It's not too "braggy" at all. Showcase your talents in a nicely laid out resume.

More opinons? I've already typed out my resume. Should I put it in the additional information or print it out?

this is weird, on the common app, it says on the activity, EC, awards box, if you have extra things that you can't fit in there, type them in the additional information part.

Oh. Thanks :). I'm stupid.

but i'm not so sure, i'm debating with myself also. Although it clearly ssays on there to type them in the additional box, many studnets here send extra resumes...........

My D used the Common App for several schools and sent her Resume (and a Writing Portfolio) separately by mail to each school.

Yeah, you can't do neat placings in a textbox.

if we were to send in a resume or any of the other supplement files, do we simply need to send it in through ordinary mailing process?

Yeah, with the rest of the app.

I meant submitting supplement files through mail when the rest of the applications are done via online...

why would you want to do that when you can just send it in online?

that's true, you can just type your resume into the additional information section.
