1.) Do I have to wear BCGs? I can drive and take notes in class perfectly fine without glasses so would it be ok not to wear the BCGs?

2.) I have heard that there is a triathlon club which I am very interested in. If I were in it would I still have to be in intramural sports or could I train for the triathlon during that time instead, because I was told that debators are not in intramural sports.

From what I've heard, you don't have to, and shouldn't, wear BCGs if you don't have to. ;)

I'm pretty sure you have to wear BCG's during BCT if your eyesight deems it necessary, based on your Dodmerb stuff.

As far as triathalon club, I'm pretty sure that gets you out of intramurals. Not 100% sure though.

Is there an intramural that is just weightlifting, or would I have to do that on my own time?

I would think you just do that on your own time.

is there a curfue for lifting at AFA? Because my friend from west point said she couldnt lift after 7pm.

I'm pretty sure that you can lift pretty much any time the gym is open. I'm not sure what the hours are, but they're pretty late (I think someone once told me 10pm?).

Gym's open till 10. And you might wanna grab a pair of BCG's and hide them until you head to the rifle range, and during briefings if you sit far away. Other than that just keep them in your room/pocket and don't let your cadre see them, since they might make you wear them.

If you wear glasses/contacts normally, you will wear them during BCT.

Weightlifting is not an intramural, AFAIK.
The triathalon team/club(?) might have limited on season status, which means you will be excused from intramurals and some stuff...but I'm not sure.

so does that mean im only out of intramurals for certain times of the year? Because im sure triathalons are hosted year round.
