<p>Interesting article. I wonder how many middle class kids are simply not going to be able to pay for school and have to drop out or take time off in order to earn money for tuition?</p>

<p>Lots of young people below the top 10 percent of family income level have to "stop out" of college (I did, in my day) to pay the bills. Many never feel they can start attending college.</p>
