Let's use this thread to tell when we've received an invitation to the FF weekend. List stats along with it.

(Not that I think I will really get it! I am just hoping for a Charter scholarship!)

(Not that I think I will really get it! I am just hoping for a Charter scholarship!)

The website isn't helpful at all. Every day when I get out of school I just rush home and check the mail. I'm going crazy. Crazy!

I e-mailed the scholarship department today and got a reply that they had not mailed out any invitations yet. She said they should start mailing them out by this weekend. So... breathe.... and wait.... :)

Do we get any notification via email?

I got mine yesterday! The site was down so I couldn't post this then.

AWESOME! Do you mind listing your stats?

I got mine yesterday too. Yippee

um... i have a 1590 sat, 35 act, 4.212 gpa while ranked 1/354

several clubs
couple sports
job

grats btw. i hope everyone else that checks this gets good news

i got mine in the mail today. tore the packet open on the driveway b/c i waited long enough to see the decision. :D
oops, forgot to list stats...umm 1600 combined sat (M+C), 33 ACT (didn't report but UGA had my scores), 5.1 gpa out of 6 (like the only place in the world out of 6 lol) and ranked 1/280? or something. some other stuff like music and various clubs and some research.

Whew! You guys rule! Congrats!! I don't have much of a chance... just a Charter would be sweet. I didn't get anything today. I'm in Dallas, and it took a lot longer for me to get my Honors invitation than it did everyone else.

Congrats to those who got the invite (and PM me if you want to discuss the fellowship or have any questions), but I want everyone who didn't get the invite to remember that Honors at UGA is in itself an awesome program and determined Honors students can get an experience closely mirroring the benefits of the fellowship if you're willing to work for it. The research opportunities are all the same, the classes are all the same, the students you'll be living and working with are all the same; it's still a top-notch educational opportunity and there have been many honors students who have won major scholarships who weren't fellows. Good luck to everyone and let me know if you've got any questions about the Honors program, other than the selection part.

1600 Combined SAT. 101.1 GPA (100 scale). Bunch of extracurricular stuff if you care to hear. Congrats everyone! And I agree with the thread above. UGA Honors itself is a great experience, from what I hear.

Didn't make it. :( Well, wasn't really expecting it. But, hoping for it, ya know? The sad thing is, I can't go UGA unless I get a scholarship. It's too much for us for out of state, but we make too much $ to get fin. aid. The blessings of the almost upper class, huh? I'll have to wait until March to see if I get a Charter. Good luck everyone!

I got a letter that I didn't get it. Well, considering I didn't apply for it, I'm not surprised. Hmm...

I got an invitation for the Charter today in the mail? I applied for the FF.

Really? Hmmm... they told me they would go out in March. I think I will call them Monday. Ilovecrew, are you from out of state?

Yes, Tennessee.
