I'm an incoming transfer as some of you know and I decided to register for a Fiat Lux on a whim because it was available. However, I just noticed that it's on Friday at 9AM!!! I know myself too well to think I can wake up for a class that early especially when I have a discussion a few hours later. Tell me... do you think that Fiat Lux Seminars are that critical to my education? I'm enrolled in LAW 19 Seminar 2 and the prof has really nice ratings on Bruinwalk. Still, I could always take one next quarter or something. In any case, how do you guys feel about Fiat Luxes.

I have 8AM classes on two days

Fiat lux seminars aren't "critical" to your education. They're just introductions/portals for students to emerge themselves in topics of interest. So, basically, seeing as how you don't think you'll want to wake up early for it, you can drop it and take it later if there's room/when it's more convenient.

Do you know any where there is minimal hw?
