<p>ok so people on other boards keep calling penn a "party school," but when i visited i didn't get that impression at all. i know that there is a lot more social activity, but i would not consider it a "party school." that sounds more like penn state or florida or ole miss.</p>
<p>thoughts?</p>
<p>when i visited it didn't seem like a "party" school but (obviously I'm not a student so don't take this from experience) I know its a "work hard, play hard" school so weekends = fun</p>

<p>sleepingbeauty florida is way diff. i went up there to visit for homecoming weekend and to c friends and the students have way less work than a penn student would. i have friends there that r easily getting straight A's gettin faded 3-4 nights a week. it was so much fun. :)</p>
<p>i have a good friend penn though that says it's insane. (he's really smart but getting bad grades cuz he's in engineering and he goes out almost every night)</p>
