I will have two children in college this fall. A senior and a freshman. I'm told I now have to fill out the FAFSA twice. Is there some way to copy all my info from the first one and paste it in the second one? thanks!

This was brought up a few weeks ago and we all thought no, but I think we ended up finding out you actually could. I will see if I can find the thread.

Here is the link. The last post seemed to imply that there might be a way to do it, but not much information I am afraid.

I actually did this a few hours ago. At the end of filing one child’s fafsa, on the confirmation page that has your efc and confirmation #, there is a link to “begin a new application with your parents’ info already filled in”. You info is then copied to this new application. I actually did my upcoming freshman’s first, and then did my senior’s second. If you do the senior’s first, more info will get copied to the freshman’s. I had used the fafsa4caster for my freshman back in the fall so I was able to transfer most of that info intially also. Do the senior first and it will save you time since you already have some of the info there on the senior’s renewal fafsa. All of your financial info along with your general info gets transferred when you use this link!
