My gpa is a 3.7. I havnt taken any ap courses but i have a lot of extra curricular activities like sports and clubs. I really want to go there for film production but i dont know my chances. I also have an uncle whom is willing to write me an almuni recomendation. I will also be applying for the tuition exchange program there. What are my chances?

Be careful

The New York Times recently had an article about how tough it was out there for film documents.

Check the really good advice in film and visual arts major section, especially the ones at the top. Top film schools are tough to get in, recent Madden book (I think) had stats that implied an acceptance rate for LMU production of 15%ish. Chapman is probably less and USC down around 2%. Highly competitive admission means you need to try more than one school, try to find a program that fits your needs/desires. I think LMU is a great film program, but there are others, some less competitive and less expensive, that could meet your needs.
Film schools care about your grades and test scores, but they are particularly looking for evidence of talent, drive and enthusiasm. Try to find an EC that demonstrates that for film.
Florida is correct about the market for beginners being tough, that’s why you want to limit your debt so you can afford those low paying entry jobs where you get your first experiences and make contacts for your future career.
