Film Schools: Chapman, LMU, USC, NYU, Pace, UCLA (Transfer)

<p>Hi, first and foremost, I'm a transfer student from a California community college who received my high school education in another country.</p>

<p>Female, Hispanic, First generation college student, low income
GPA: 3.3
I'm hoping to get that up to a 3.5 by the time of application. </p>

<p>Activities:
-Volunteer at public library by giving film editing workshops
-Volunteer at the San Diego Film Festival
-Volunteer with at-risk youth in orphanages in Mexico by being an activity group leader
-Worked on set of movies/shorts as an assistant director/sound technician/camera assistant
-Participated in 48 Hour Film Festival
-Founded film club in high school
- Have been dancing ballet for 5 years
-Participate in film club in college
-Submitted shorts to film festival
-Have been interning for a Chapman Dodge Alumn
-Organized red carpet at the first annual San Diego Film Awards</p>

<p>I'm looking at the film production program as my first choice, second choice would be creative producing at Chapman and Stark Producing program at USC.</p>
