Im a Spring 2016 transfer student who got accepted into George Washington University, I had made an appeal on my current financial aid awards because I had made an error on the fasfa accidentally including a rollover which appeared as income and should have not been added. My award list currently has refreshed but I’m still receiving very little help. My mother had lost her job which was another reason for my appeal. As of now my appeal still shows it has not been reviewed, but my award list is updated. Does this mean that the awards now are just due to the fasfa error and that there is still a possibility for more help once the appeal is completed? Any response would help, Thank You.
