financial Aid

Hi! I got accepted as a transfer student at ESIA but i am missing a ton of $. I mean, my grants and awards packet is amazing, but I'm still short! I have a super (trust me) super low EFC so I was hoping for more. I read in some thread that they were people with high EFCs who got a similar amount as mine. So I'm finishing an appeal letter and was wondering if anybody has had experience with that.. did it worked for any of you? also, do you guys know if FA reduces your award if you live off-campus?

i personally asked for an appeal and got 2000 more, but i have a very high EFC and i also turned in my fin aid late so idk how that effected it but just call them and talk to them thats the best advice

well they have all my papers… the only thing missing is the appeal so I hope they’ll take it! I know ill have to take some loans but the less the better… I would like to only have fed loans

ellomeno did you fill out the appeals form?
also what were some of your reasons?

no I just wrote a letter to the head of financial aid and faxed it to him, Daniel Small i believe his name was

I just told him it would be great to alleviate the burden of the tuition because in the next year another one of my siblings would be entering college so they have me 2000 more free money and a perkins loan
