Hi everyone:)
So I just got a mail from USC (University of Southern California) reminding me to submit FAFSA/CSS before the deadline (which I did). Also, they said to 'remember to send additional information when requested'. So far I have not recieved any emails from them saying they need any more information, but should I contact them to ask if they need anything? For example, Middlebury College sent me an email telling me to send them W-2 forms signed by my parents' employers.

Also, another question, I am a US citizen applying from Taiwan. My parents pay Taiwanese taxes but no US taxes. Do they need to fill out the 'non-tax filer form'?

Thanks for reading this post and I would appreciate any answers!

If you log in to your USConnect account and look under Financial Aid. You should be able to see the status and if they are wanting any additional info. I saw on there that they wanted a copy of my tax return. About a week later, I got an email. After I sent in the info, a few days later it updated that they had everything.

No, it’s fine to post in FAid forum, just wanted you to imp now you can get more USC specific answers on the USC forum. Joann0510 was able to help here with helpful info anyway. :)

Right - we learned that last year. The information is sent to the student’s portal. Even as a returning student the information asking for specific tax forms was in her password protected account. If we hadn’t known to ask her to look, we might have missed the deadline. And look more than once. Once the forms were filled out about student income and tax status, and parent tax information - the portal added two more documents it needed to have uploaded - pdf’s of specific tax schedules.

@ArtsandLetters Thank you! You’re right. They do need me to upload something else on the portal. I will remember to check again after I submit this one. Thanks again!
