Finalist: Minimum SAT Score??? Help please

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>Ok, so, on the PSAT/NMSQT, I had a selection index of 222 and I know that I will be semifinalist (Atleast Illinois has always had around a 215 cutoff). So, I was thinking ahead and I am wondering this:</p>

<p>In order to become a finalist for the PSAT the website says I need confirm my score.</p>

<p>What does this mean? Do I need to get atleast a 2220 on my SAT or atleast the Illinois cutoff * 10 on my SAT?</p>

<p>Please explain. I am confused by what the application means. </p>

<p>When you take your SAT, you need to get a similar score. I've heard that anything above 2000 is acceptable, but I can't say for sure.</p>

<p>I live in Ohio, and in 2008, I got a 222 and a 2170. I'm now a Semi-Finalist, waiting to hear about Finalist standing any day now..</p>
