im sorry man but your grades are too low for duke and the other ivies....my cousin was the valedictorian in his graduating class and had a 1570 on sats and he goes to duke...

Actually for CPU which I assume is Computer Science?? CMU is about the hardest except for Dartmouth. You have 600 math, their 25-75 math is 740-800. Score--- 2. Probably 2 or 2-3 for the rest, 1-2 for Dartmouth.

If you could chance other people, why couldn't you chance yourself? This is not a voting booth here.

All of them are far, far reaches for you, not with those SAT scores and 90% GPA. Even if you were able to get accepted, you would struggle in those schools. You need to look at schools where you are at least at 50% tile. First generation only get you so far.

I have applied to a lot of schools; Aside from these schools I've applied to 4 schools, and I fall at or above the 50th percentile for all of them.

When you say if I get in I will struggle, are you basing that mostly on my SAT II score?
My school offers very little AP courses, only 3. I've taken the most rigorous courses they offered

And I cant chance myself because I'd have some bias.

[1]Washington University in St Louis 2-3
[2]Dartmouth - 2
[3]Carnegie Mellon - 3
[4]Duke -2
[5]Notre Dame 3-4
[6]Vanderbilt 4
[7]Johns Hopkins U. 2

I am basing on your SAT II and SAT I scores. Most students at those schools have over 700 for those subject tests. Your GPA is also 90%, what's your ranking? You should be in the top 5%.

You could chance yourself objectively, compare your stat with each school's stat. If you have no hook, you need to be in the 75% tile, even then you have around 10% chance.

And I was really foolish when I planned when I took my SAT's.

I had only 1 month to prepare for each test, I thought that an honors biology course the year before and a skim of PR's book would give me a good score. I didn't prep much for math I either..
