Hi,
I am planning to transfer colleges for fall 2018 and was wondering if anyone can look at my college list and tell me which colleges give bad financial aid for transfers? I know that transfers don’t get a lot of F.A. but among the colleges on my list I want to know which are the most generous and least generous. Thanks!

Check out the others to see if they have any scholarships for transfer students. Unlikely, but worth a check.
@AGoodFloridian Thank you for your response. So Northeastern doesn’t meet full financial need? I saw on their website about the Northeastern promise or whatever for all undegraduate students so I assumed that the school would have good F.A.

It’s my first time hearing about that, I usually go off the sites that have lists of “meet full need” colleges, and I don’t recall seeing Northeastern on them, Maybe they haven’t been updated yet!
I’m just unsure about whether the Northeastern Promise’s generous F.A. extends to transfers. I still somehow feel that transfers still get less F.A. $ than freshman at NU.
Just got off the phone with Emory, transfer admissions are need-blind. If you want to make sure, I suggest you call the schools directly.

@ObLiViOuSx99 Oh, and the general rule of thumb is that transfers get less than freshman, across the board. While Northeastern may very well give more to transfers than other schools, I highly doubt they give more (or equal) amounts of financial aid to transfer students.
