Financial Aid award appeared on son's webadvisor today!

Son called FA today to ammend some information & was told that his FA package just went in the mail. We went on webadvisor and his (previously data-less) FA page now has a package listed under "Accept or Reject My Financial Aid Awards."

We were thrilled to see that a $2,000 Dodge Talent Scholarship was stacked on to his Chancellor's Scholarship ($20,000 per year). The talent scholarship is renewable for 4 years, also, I believe. (Does anyone know?)

Slowly, but surely, we are getting close to being able to make this happen for DS.

FA is beginning to send out packages, evidently, and there may be info posted now on webadvisor for some EA admits.

Congratulations gladiatorbird! That is great news :)

Woohoo! That’s great news!

All we have today is a note from College Board saying we neglected to submit the FAFSA supplement. Oops. I guess DH didn’t realize he was supposed to do this. Hope it isn’t too late for Chapman. I see the deadline was 3/2.

Congrats gladiatorbird!! Thanks for the heads up as well… as soon as I saw your post last night, S and I checked his status. Dodge talent scholarship recipient as well. Woot! :)

YAY, Angry-p!

Talent scholarsips are evidently renewable. From the website:
Dodge “does award talent scholarships to a select group of applicants based on their written application. All students applying to any program within Dodge College are automatically considered for a talent scholarship; no additional materials or forms are required. Recipients usually are awarded $2,000 per year, renewable annually for four years contingent upon good academic standing.”

Shakespearean: Might your delayed FAFSA supplement warrant a phonecall to FA?

I received my award letter in the mail today!

Congrats applesnbannanas!

Gladiatorbird – bravo!
My son also received a $2,000 media/film award from Dodge, in Saturday’s mail. The letter said it was renewable. So, definitely makes Chapman a great deal.

YAY! What a difference that lovely $8k makes! :)
