I recently got accepted to The University of Montana as a transfer student. I didn’t do my best in the previous CC i was in but still got accepted. Now my concern is if I will be eligible to receive financial aid. I received an award letter and I already accepted the pell grant and loan awards. Since I already accepted my award does that mean I will be receiving financial aid?
If you weren’t accepted under probation, you’ll probably be fine. You had to make progress at your last school. Why don’t you just ask the financial aid office?
“Award letter” = “Financial Aid”
If you are wondering if you be getting **more[/b ] than the Pell & loan, I wouldn’t think so, since normally all FinAid is listed in the award letter. However there are always exceptions, so as stated above, contacting the FinAid Office would be your best bet.
I have tried contacting my financial aid office via phone and email but no answers yet. I am just a bit confused, I just didn’t want to continue my the process if I would not have the sufficient funds to pay.
The award letter IS notification of your financial aid.
How much more do you need in order to pay for everything?
What does the school’s net price calculator show you for financial aid?
After the loans and grants that I accepted I still need about $13,000 which my parents and myself will pay. But i just want to make sure that the estimated award is guaranteed since I wouldn’t be able to cover my full tuition out of pocket.
No one here can tell you it’s guaranteed. Contact the school.
