<p>So I see you guys posting your award information and stuff. How do you get the award info before submitting your 1040s and dependency forms to the universities? Do you only have to submit the fafsa info by the March deadline?</p>
<p>Secondly, has anybody received their Cal Grant award info on the cal grant website?</p>

<p>You only have to submit the FAFSA to get an award letter. You do not have to submit tax forms unless specifically required by the university or selected for federal verification. If you’re selected for federal verification you should still get your award letter before having to submit the verification documents. You just won’t be cleared to receive your aid until the verification process is complete.</p>
