Financial aid doesn’t come out all at once.

oh well on collegeboard it said today’s the deadline to notify people
but then again collegeboard has been wrong before

There’s no deadline listed…
Are you sure it’s not when they START notifying people?

04/01 U Calif Irvine: Deadline for college to notify students of financial aid

Pfff… I don’t have any aid

thank you american government and your inability to process green cards faster.

Yet you want to come here for school…hmmmm

Yeah, I’m a hypocrite… pff

mikeymike, it may not be safe for you to mention that you are not so poor, as people might get angry with you. Haha, good for you though.

$16,778.00 yeeeeeeee :]

same here ^
woohoo

I have checked my financial aid awards, and I have a question about the gift aid
Here is what mine says:

Gift Aid
UC Irvine Grant $10,770.00 Accepted
Total Gift Aid $10,770.00

Does that mean I will get $10,770 for my freshman year and the years following that?
Also, are there any other forms I need to send in to UC Irvine to confirm getting this grant?

@darksss, it means you will get 10,770 only for freshman year. You will have to apply for financial aid again for the next year, and so on. It will be based on tax returns from your parents or you or whoever.

I’m sure UCI will notify you if you need to send in anything else.

So, at the end of freshman year, I will need to fill out another financial aid report?

The thing is that, my AGI I reported on FASFA was a little off the actual amount, because my parents were still filing numbers and gave me an estimate. Would they probably ask me for another number and adjust my grant?
