Financial Aid Email

I haven’t received any financial aid emails at all. I would conclude I am probably rejected, but I remain hopeful.

I got the generic mail twice; once was AFTER I submitted the forms…which is funny. But the status is still “required”. Does it mean they haven’t uploaded it to their system?

@Conscience13
me too. Last week, I got forth generic email after I submitted required documents and the status still says “required”.
Are you an international student?

I just got the fourth email. I’m so scared of getting wait listed.

@rd60374 Would you rather be rejected than wait listed?

Ok I’ve never got an email and this thread is freaking me out!

@rd60375 …why do you think you will be waitlisted?

I don’t think I will, it’s just that my IDOC stuff doesn’t say satisfied and I just have really bad luck lol

Also I called them a couple days ago and some of my IDOC requirements should be waived, but they have yet to change the status on my account (which is why I keep getting these stressful emails). This must mean they haven’t started looking at my forms and creating a package yet.

So do you guys really believe that this whole thing relates to your admission decision. Does my CSS profile being fulfilled since early January mean that they’ve already accepted/rejected me?

Are there any internationals students who received a mail?

@Brouhahah i haven’t

They’re pretty lenient with the FA deadlines right? Like if you get something in late it’s not like they’ll disqualify you for financial aid, right?

Kids, you need to calm down. :slight_smile: If you haven’t heard anything from the FA people, most likely it simply means that they have everything they need. The reminder emails are most likely automatically generated, and somebody just needs to update the database to indicate info received but is too busy to do so, since they are frantically putting together maybe a thousand FA packages.

efeens44, our IDOC submission was late, and D gave my S something like $48K in FA. Don’t worry, don’t worry. If there is some piece on info they have asked you for and it cannot be produced until a certain date, just email them and let them know.

Good luck, everyone.

@Brouhahah …international here…and I got the generic mail twice but they are not responding to any email I send them…

me 2!..
and have received four generic emails. Today, my application was changed to “Received - review in progress.”

hey …just checked my status…CSS profile is still Received and Satisfied. Income Statements changed to Received-Review in Progress.

are you an international student?

@Conscience13
When did you submit income statements? I emailed them last week and today it changed to Received - review in progress.
Anyway, I’ve not received any specific email by this time regarding documents that I have submitted.
