@Conscience13, i am an international student too. i received fin aid email twice and i sent the documents yesterday they were immediately marked as received- review in progress (CSS profile is received and satisfied)

@Brouhahah …exact same thing happened!! 2 generic mails. CSS Profile is Satisfied but the status of income statements is review in progress.
I know I am being toooo optimistic, but do you think they will evaluate financial aid for international students after US citizens.

@Conscience13
“but do you think they will evaluate financial aid for international students after US citizens.”

probably…

I’ve received four generic emails!!! however my status still says “Received - review in progress”.

css is satisfied but income statements under review…am international too

idk, there is another kid who applied from my school and i asked him if he submitted income statement or received any mail about it and his answer was “What, we were supposed to do that?!“. He didn’t receive any email either. But why would financial office bother to gather these documents if there wasn’t a positive sign from admissions? (not necessarily an acceptance, but at least wait list)

true that @Brouhahah … they didn’t send emails asking for income statements to everyone…must be a good sign for sure.
Do all applications go to the committee or only the ones picked my the regional admission officer? If the latter is the case, a yes from the regional officer must have been a signal to the Financial Aid office.
From all the international students who have posted till now, it is safe to conclude that the Financial Aid office hasn’t changed any statuses yet. But with like 9 days left, things might start changing. Do keep us posted.

All my documents changed to satisfied today! Also, I received the generic financial email four times.

All of mine are still Review in Progress, and I received no emails today. Sigh…

All of mine say reviewed satisfied, and I’ve gotten a bunch of aid emails, including one yesterday. I would die if I got in!!!

I just checked, and I have 10 emails from them… From Jan 13th to March 17th

I envy all of you guys… I am an international student and in my country all tax documents and income statements for 2013 comes out in may and I explained this to Dartmouth financial aid office. So the only required part for me is the css profile which has been received and satisfied since feb 03. I have no other requirements so I have no idea what will happen… I guess I have to just expect rejection

Yesterday, my profile changed completely: Received and satisfied, after I received four generic emails from the Financial Aid Office.

Should I still wait for anymore email?

@JimmyAtParadise are you a local applicant or international student?

Just checked…everything is received and satisfied at last! And as I mentioned earlier, I am an international student.

I feel like too many people have received and satisfied we can’t all be accepted can we?

Mine don’t – they say “waived”. Not able to turn them in until April, and my guess is that with the CSS and FAFSA they can make a preliminary FA offer if they want to with that info. Can’t really read anything else into it except for that!

Do we find out about Dartmouth online or in the mail?

Mine says received - review in progress, but it also says this as of only one week ago, is this most likely a neutral sign?

my documents are changing status every day. literally. three days ago they were received- review in progress. yesterday, they were missing or incomplete. today they are received- review in progress again. I am so confused.

Perhaps, this year, they aren’t really any indication of much…
