Financial Aid for Transfers at Brown

How good is it? I know it exists, but could anyone share their experiences, or what they generally know? Is it need-based and could a student from a $65-70,000 family income get considerable aid?

Thank you for your help.

We only give need-based aid, for families with 65-70k of income there is significant aid available, generally, but I do believe transfer admissions are need-aware.

I’m not 100% sure.

From Brown’s Financial Aid site, for Transfer students:

i can’t contact financial aid at brown by phone the last week? what i do?

This question has been answered before on here, I alone have answered it a couple times.

Wolfmanjack, my bad, I performed a CollegeConf search and I did come up with some threads.

But, I would still appreciate it if anyone could share recent/updated information, or if they know whether the policies have changed or not (the threads I am finding are from 2 years ago and up).

I answered this earlier this year and within the past 2 years.

The info I have is the same as before. Need aware, highest loan bracket…still decent if you get it. There aren’t any transfers who post on here who have gotten accepted more recently than I have. I’m the best you get :)

Haha, thanks. The need-aware is really a pain, still don’t know whether I should apply…
