Financial Aid Packages at WF

Wake is listed among a small list of schools who are need blind on admissions AND meet 100% of need. Yet, Princeton Review gives them a very low financial aid rating in the low to mid 70s. I have heard that some schoold "meet full need" but do it with more "self help" than grants. Have any of you received an aid package from Wake? Any disappointments?

My family and I are very satisfied with the aid package I received. I felt it was quite generous.

We are also very pleased with D's aid package from Wake. Although it does contain loans and federal work study it contains a sizeable grant as well and truly did meet 100% of the coast after application of the EFC. D is happy to contribute whatever she can to getting the excellent education she expects to receive here. She turned down considerable merit offers elsewhere to attend Wake.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Of course all schools include some "self help" through loans and work study. Looking at the stats, it looks like most schools keep the debt to $20K or so over four years, but it seems a little higher at Wake. I can see in their other material they are working hard to improve it.

I will also be grateful for any help, but I do need to anticipate for planning purposes what types of packages they are putting together these days.
