Financial Aid questions regarding summer 2012

So I just checked my bar account and I owe a little over 2k for registering for summer. I am taking 8 units because I need it to graduate. I usually receive financial aid but I am curious to know if I am responsible to pay for this amount BEFORE getting aid? That will definitely not gonna be good. I am just a little worried because last time I owed money on BAR ($5) they put my account on hold. I know that financial aid for summer is not even available yet. I am a little confused because I didn't think they would bill my account so early.

Also: If I don't have to pay the whole amount for now should I pay the $100 in registration fees?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Financial aid is available to all eligible continuing UCLA students. This includes students admitted to UCLA for Fall 2012.

You will need to complete the 2012-13 FAFSA application online at [Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov). The FAFSA must be submitted on or before March 2, 2012. You also need to complete a supplemental Summer Financial Aid Application available on line beginning April 1, 2012. The priority filing deadline is April 30, 2012.

All requested supporting documents must be submitted by April 30, 2012 to obtain on-time status.

The last day for the UCLA financial aid recipient to pay fees is 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012. Classes will be dropped if fees are not paid by then.

Please check with your home institution regarding financial aid options. Please note that ALL students applying for financial aid assume full responsibility for all fees. Regardless of when you receive aid, you are held to the UCLA Summer Sessions payment deadlines.
